Who is Scale Automobilia? Scale Automobilia is a Hobby Shop dealing primarily in Plastic Model car, truck and aircraft kits with the odd diecast vehicle. Our shop is located in South Grafton, New South Wales, Australia and we can send model kits anywhere in Australia or overseas. See our order page for more information.Andy Douglas, the proprietor, has had over 36 years modelling experience, starting out with planes and ships, then discovering that model cars had chrome bits and rubber tyres - Wowl! Planes and ships didn't have these! After numerous engine swaps/chopping/channelling and sectioning in 1/25th scale. 1:1 scale cars beckoned with the purchase of a 1940 Dodge Sedan that went to the 1st Australian Street Rod Nationals and various runs since! It is pictured above.
In between Full Size Projects, Andy still makes models - lots of models - so when you deal with Scale Automobilia, you are dealing with a confirmed, certified, 100% guaranteed model and car nut that knows the real cars as well as the models!. (There is also the rumour that aircraft, especially WWII warbirds get rnodelled as well as the odd truck!!) Welcome to Scale Automobilia! 
Currently, Andy still has the 1940 Dodge sedan pictured above but has recently
added to the 1:1 model collection buy purchasing a 1941 Plymouth Coupe, as
shown,(shades of the AMT 41 Plymouth Coupe kit) its an older restoration,
factory RHD ex Sth African built car however Andy has plans to correct that with
a few extra carbs & headers on the side valve 6, dropping the front &
rear end a few inches then going hunting the odd flathead Ford........lol. Other
cars have included a 1938 Ford Sedan, 1948 Chrysler Windsor, 1938 Pontiac Sloper and 1923
T-Track Roadster - Andy knows the difference between a Y-Block and a Ford Y-Model Sedan!!!
